James Pryor Manship, 78, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Morrison Manor.
The family will have a service at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Wagram Emanuel Holiness Church, officiated by the Rev. Ronnie Norton.
Born August 12, 1939 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late Bruce and Margaret Aleene Hester Manship. He was an inspector for Phelps Dodge, formerly Rea Magnet Wire where he worked for 31 years.
He is survived by his daughter Lee Ann Pate of Laurinburg; sons, James Pryor Manship, Jr. of Dunn and Rev. Ronnie Norton of Laurinburg; sisters, Doris Smart and Margaret Manship both of Laurinburg; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lenora Norton Manship and a brother.
