Mr. James Kenny Jones, 61, formerly of Laurinburg, died Wednesday Feb. 28, 2007 in the Lenoir Health Care Center in Lenoir, NC.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel in Laurinburg, Rev. Richard Tyson and Rev. Chuck Mondrell will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park in Laurinburg.
He was born Feb. 1, 1946 in Marlboro County, SC, a son of the the late Jasper Tally Jones, Jr. and Ruby Watts Jones. He was retired from Service Oil Company in Laurinburg as credit manager with more than 20 years service. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Laurinburg. He loved his family.
Survivors include his daughters and sons in law, Vonda and Jeff Burns of Lenoir, NC and Susan and Ki Nam of Leesville, La.; brother, Buddy (Roger) Jones of Laurel Hill, NC; sisters, Teresa Bowyer of Raleigh, NC and Cynthia Jones of Los Angeles, Ca.; 2 grandchildren, Haley Burns and Kira Nam; special aunt, Grace Watts of Laurel Hill, NC
