Mr. James "Jimmy" Hollingsworth Medlin, 64, died Thursday, January 18, at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Laurinburg Presbyterian Church officiated by the Revs. Nick Mager and Elizabeth Forester.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Moody Medlin; one son, James "Jay" Medlin, Jr. of Laurinburg; three brothers, Roland H. "Sonny" Medlin of Laurinburg, John A. Medlin of Marshfield, MA, and Edward M. Medlin of Yreka, CA.; one grandson, and one granddaughter. A brother, Angus "Buddy" Medlin, predeceased him.
Born September 14, 1936, in Maxton, he was a son of the late Roland F. Medlin and Lillian Medlin Mock. He attended Presbyterian Junior College in Maxton and graduated from Kinga
