Mr. James Paul Campbell, 77, of 12501 Kay Road died Wednesday, January 25, at the Morrison Manor.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. Dr. L. D. Kimrey. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Daniels Campbell, three sons, James Michael "Mike" Campbell and wife, Bonnie Ray of Rockingham, William Bryan Campbell and wife, Lucinda of Laurinburg, and Jameson Dale "Jamie" Campbell and wife, Lisa of Gibson; a daughter, Barbara Denise Byrd and husband, Buddy of Laurinburg; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Catherine C. Jackson.
Born July 30, 1927 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late Jesse and Desdie Cribb Campbell. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II, serving in Hawaii, and later served with the National Guard. He was a retired employee of J. P. Stevens.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
