Jack Russell Westwood

Jack Russell Westwood, 85, of Laurinburg, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Morrison Manor.

A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Terry Hunt. Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2018 at Lawn Haven Burial Estates in Worthington, PA, under the care of Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home.

Born December 5, 1932 in Armstrong County, PA, he was the son of the late Roy and Anna Bernadine Schaub Westwood. Jack was a college professor of Math and taught at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and also at Waynesburg College. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Laurinburg, NC and also of First Baptist Church of Waynesburg, PA and of Kittanning, PA. He also served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years 11 months 1 week and 1 day, Patricia Marie Westwood of the home; daughter, Sandra Westwood Brady of Laurinburg; sons, Mark Daniel Westwood of Butler, PA and Jeffery Glenn Westwood of Laurinburg; and grandchildren, Ian Eckman, Grace Brady and Glenn Westwood.

A visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
