Clarence Turner, 90, died Sunday, October 30 at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville.
A graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Hillside Cemetery.
He was the last of ten siblings in his family and is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Born May 12, 1921 in Person County, he was a son of the late Willie H. and Mollie Gentry Turner. They moved to Scotland County in 1937. Clarence was a US Army veteran of World War II and worked in farming.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
