Mr. J. Edward Clark, 89, of 7300 Gibson Road died Wednesday at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Laurinburg Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by the Revs. Michael Price and Legrande Taylor. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery, Gibson.
He is survived by a daughter, Delores Taunton and husband, Harold of Gibson; a brother, Lindsey Clark and wife Betty of Laurel Hill; a sister, Virginia Guy and husband, David of Laurinburg.
Ed was a retired employee of Morgan Mills and was choir director for 28 years, a former Sunday school teacher and a Deacon.
Memorials may be made to East Laurinburg Pentecostal Holiness Church, PO Box 1046, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Friday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
