Howard Lee Peele

Howard Lee Peele, Sr., 79, died Sunday, January 22.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Tabernacle United Methodist Church. Burial with military honors will follow in the Peele Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Trogdon Peele; sons, Howard L. Peele, Jr. (Gloria) of Columbia; George R. Peele (Marie) of Wallace, William H. Peele (Patti) of Chesterfield; a daughter, Kelsie Temple (Kenn) of Lexington; sisters, Geneva Gibson of Bennettsville and Christine Johnson of Swansboro, NC, 4 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren..
He was a veteran of the US Army and a retired carpenter and painter. Howard was also a long time active member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church where he served as an occasional piano player.

Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Monday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium in Laurinburg.
