Mr. H. Fuller High, 93, of Butler Street died suddenly Sunday, May 25, while at church.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Springfield Church of God officiated by the Revs. Dan Carter and Jeff McGirt. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery, Gibson.

He is survived by a son, Nelson High of Laurinburg; three daughters, Frances Allen of Dillon, SC, Rachel Britt of Laurinburg, and Betty Garcia of Red Bluff, CA; three step-sons, Vernie Taylor of Newport News, VA, Grady Taylor of Dillon, SC, and Mitchell Taylor of Maxton; three step-daughters, Joyce Brock of Laurinburg, Dorothy Taylor and Lois Smith of Hamlet; 38 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.

Born August 30, 1909 in Whiteville, he was a son of the late Herman and Kettie Hobbs High. He was employed with the NC Department of Transportation for 30 years. Following his retirement, he drilled wells until he was 85 years old.

Fuller possessed immense wisdom, historical knowledge, and love of his Lord Jesus Christ. He was active in both the Springfield Church of God and the East Laurinburg Church of God.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Springfield Church of God.

Memorials may be made to the Springfield Church of God, 10101 Gibson Rd., Laurel Hill, NC 28351.
