Harold P. Connors, 75, of Wagram, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017.
Harold lived in Orange Co. NY and worked at Nepera Inc. before relocating to Scotland Co. in 2000.
He is survived by wife, Karen Connors of the home; daughter, Kim Russell of NY; granddaughters, Amanda Polonco, Nichole Rayburn, and Jasmine Hilis; great grandchildren, Jayden Polonco, Jaelianna Polonco, Amelia Hilis and Asia Hilis. Harold was predeceased by his son Michael J. Connors in 2014.
Harold was an avid volunteer. He volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, and served as President of the Board. He also volunteered at the John Blue Cotton Festival every year since he moved here and served on the Board until he became too ill to do so. He was a member of the North Scotland/Wagram Fire Department.
There were various other charities that he participated in. Harold loved Scotland County and was always ready to help anyone.
