Mr. Harold Edward Butler, 61, of 17141 Barnes Drive died Monday, March 26, at his residence.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at East Laurinburg Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by the Rev. Legrande Taylor. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
Hi is survived by his wife, Patricia "Cricket" A. Butler; a son Phillip Edward Butler and his wife, Jackie of Laurinburg; a daughter-in-law, Janet Butler Clark of Laurel Hill; two brothers, Leon Butler and his wife, Carol of Laurel Hill and Earl Butler and his wife, Roberta of Hamlet; his mother-in-law, Lila Jane Young of East Laurinburg; two grandchildren, Miranda "Randi" Butler and Phillip Shane Butler of Laurinburg. He was predeceased by a son, James Howard (Jamie) Butler.
Born June 8, 1939 in Laurel Hill, he was a son of the late Pete and Geneva Morgan Butler. He was a contract truck driver for Abbott Labs for 26 years.
