Hannah Quick Swann Prevatte

Laurinburg

Mrs. Hannah Quick Swann Prevatte, 86, died Friday, February 27.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. C. F. McDowell, III. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.

She is survived by two step-sons, Gary Swann and wife, Margaret of Leland and Tommy Swann and wife, Linda of Holly Springs; three step-daughters, Sarah Page Jones and husband, Bob of Charlotte, Stephanie Warren and husband, James of New Bern, and Pam Mooney; a brother, D. B. Quick and wife, Ercel of Laurinburg; a niece, Denece Drose and husband, Perry of Laurinburg, 11 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great grandchildren.

Hannah was a long time member of Snead's Grove United Methodist Church where she was in the United Methodist Women, the Scotland County Extension Homemakers, and the Lioness Club. She also retired from Fieldcrest Carpet after many years of service.

Hannah enjoyed sewing, quilting, cross-stitch, cooking, and working in her yard.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
