Gregory Neal East, Sr.

Gregory Neal East, Sr., 62, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020.

Due to restrictions provided by the State of North Carolina regarding gatherings during the COVID 19 pandemic, services will be held at a later date.

Born February 9, 1958 in Randolph County, Mr. East is a son of the late Clay and Martha Lyon East.  He worked in the logging industry and loved fishing and sight-seeing.

He is survived by his children, Delta East, Gregory East, Jr. and Craig East, all of Star; three grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, Gary East of Star, Cynthia Lucas of Star, Lisa McLean of Ramseur, Angela Freeman of Star, Regina Hawk of Asheboro, Marty East of Seagrove and Rhonda East of Georgia; and girlfriend, Mary Ann Hobson of Star.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Lucas East and brother, Randy East.
