Grace Mcneill Smith

Grace McNeill Smith, 81, passed away gently to be with her Lord and Savior on October 8, 2014 at her home in Laurinburg. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Herdman McNeill and Daisy Berry McNeill and her step-father, Calvin Locklear; her son, Currie Locklear; sister, Lois McNeill; brother, Jimmy Locklear; and two grandsons, Johnny Hardin and Bethany Hardin.
Mrs. Smith will be dearly missed by her family and dear friend and caretaker, Cynthia, as well as her church family at Laurinburg Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include her children, Faye (Gerald) Jacobs; Bennie (Katherine) Wilks, Jr.; Tony (Linda) Wilks; and Kenneth (Glenda) Wilks and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the McNeill Cemetery, on Hancock Road between Red Springs and Lumberton. The family will receive friends at the cemetery prior to the service.
