Mrs. Grace Watts Moore, 84, passed away July 30, 2015 at Scottish Pines.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, August 2, 2015 at McDougald Funeral Home & Crematorium Chapel followed by burial in Hillside Memorial Park.
She was born February 16, 1931 in Scotland County to the late Dewey and Ella Carter Watts. She was the widow of Jerry L. Moore, Sr. USMC. Mrs. Moore was a member of East Laurinburg Baptist Church, Growing Friendship Club, & East Laurinburg Seniors Club. She loved her family above all else, enjoyed traveling and life in general.
Mrs. Moore leaves behind to cherish her memory: son, J. L. "Skip" Moore (Victoria) of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Gina Moore of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Geraldine W. Simpson of Laurinburg; brothers, Grady Watts (Mary) of Conyers, GA, and Gilbert Watts (Gilda) of Stuart, FL; grandchildren, Jerry Lee Moore III (Erin) of Atlanta, GA, Lane Moore Green (Shaine) of Ft. Myers, FL, Blake Moore (Andy Dannenbaum); great-grandchildren, Kameron Ann Green and Stirling Grace Moore of Atlanta, GA.
She was also "Nana" to four gran-dogs: "Bo", "Bogie", "Gracie Lee", & "Trixie".
Mrs. Moore was also preceded in death by: son, Alex Moore; brother, George Watts; and a great-granddaughter, infant Anabelle Lee Moore.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at McDougald Funeral Home & Crematorium.
