Mrs. Grace Hardee Smith, 89, of E. Covington St. died Friday December 15, 2006 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Sunday at Central United Methodist Church with Rev. Quinton Covington officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
Born February 21, 1917 in Cabarrus County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Lula Shelley Hardee. She worked in textiles until her retirement and was a very devoted member of Central United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol Brown of Hilton Head Island, SC and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Brown also of Hilton Head Island, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Smith.
