Golman Prince Elliott, 78, of 703 Sherbrooke Circle died Thursday, December 6, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
A Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Hillside Memorial Park officiated by the Revs. Lewis McLean and Steve Owenby.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Elliott; a brother, Charlie Elliott of Laurinburg; four sisters, Peggy Lunsford and Alene Rogers of Columbia, SC, Maxine Patrick of Long Beach, and Violet Turner of Dillon, SC.
Born November 25, 1923 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late John and Bertha McAbee Elliott. He was a US Army veteran of World War II servince in China and Burma. He was also an active member of the VFS and American Legion.
Golman was a retired salesmal for Jones Motor Car Company.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
