Glenn Allen Henry, 79, of Troy, passed away Monday, April 6, 2026 at FirstHealth Hospice & Palliative Care in West End.
A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
Born April 23, 1946, in Montgomery County, he was the son of the late Allen C. and Ruby J. Duncan Henry. A veteran of the United States Army, Glenn served in Company C (Charlie Company), 1st Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team (BDE/BCT). He was a man of many passions, including collecting trains, hunting, and discovering Indian relics. He also had a deep love for his Corvette and enjoyed attending gun shows to add to his collection.
He is survived by his four devoted friends; Clay Claiborne, Brandi Brock, Mario Morales, and Travis Morton, who cared for him; and his beloved cat, Tom. Glenn is preceded in death by his wife, Louise Henry, and his two sons, Joel and Jim Henry.
In lieu of flowers, friends requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516, in his memory.
