Mrs. Gladys Clark Stubbs, 79, of 822 Duncan St. died Friday, June 23, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.


Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the East Laurinburg Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by the Rev. Legrande Taylor. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.


She is survived by two daughters, Gloria Jean Konkol of Lumberton and Bobbie Humphrey of Raleigh; two brothers, Ed Clark of Gibson and Lindsey Clark of Laurel Hill; two sisters, Letha Cribb of Georgetown, SC and Virginia Guy of Laurinburg; four grandchildren, Wayne Lee Konkol of Raeford, Keith Patrick Konkol of Raleigh, Jonathan Blake Humphrey of Apex, Kirsten Humphrey Wray of Apex; a great grandson, Jacob Lee Humphrey of Apex.


Born October 14, 1920 in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late J. W. and Nora Brock Clark and widow of the late Robert Stubbs. She was a retired employee of Springs Mills, a member of the Young at Heart Senior Citizens and the East Laurinburg Seniors.


Memorials may be made to the East Laurinburg Pentecostal Holiness Church, PO Box 1046, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
