Ginger Louise (Greene) Gillis

Ginger Louise Greene Gillis, age 59, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

The family will announce a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Born March 18, 1962, in Montgomery County, she is a daughter of Margaret Thompson Greene and the late John Franklin Greene, Jr. Ginger’s favorite thing in the world was being a mom and a wife. Her family meant everything to her. Ginger was employed with Lemons Backhoe and Loader as a secretary.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Charles Andrew Gillis of the home; daughter, Maegan Abigail Gillis-Parsons (Justin) of Winston-Salem; and brothers, Johnny Greene (Susie) and Terry Greene (Melonie), both of Troy.
