Gilford Cleveland Clark, Jr., 57, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at First Health Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, June 4, at Living Water Church of God officiated by Pastors, Steve Adams, Eugene Ussery, John Chavis and Brett Davis. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
He is survived by his father, Gilford Cleveland Clark, Sr., of Laurinburg; his sister Becky Clark of Carthage and grandmother Nellie Hardy of Laurinburg.
Born August 8, 1958 in Laurinburg, he was also a son of the late Geraldine Hardy Clark. He was a graduate of UNC Pembroke where he majored in music. He served as a Band Director at Richmond High, Scotland High and Sycamore Lane Middle School.
Gil devoted his whole life to music and loved to play his trumpet.
