Mr. Gerald "Jerry" William Koerperich, 72, of 7163 Lee Road died Thursday, February 1, at his home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Kevin Fahey officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery in Gibson.
Born February 20, 1928 in Selden, KS, he was the son of the late William H. and Helen Kemper Koerperich. His wife, Mary Alice Barrington Koerperich preceded him in death in November of 2000.
A wheat specialist working in quality control for 34 years with General Mills of Kansas City, Jerry moved to Gibson in April of 1989. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church where he helped organize and operate the churcha
