George Eugene Vanmyer, 69, passed away Monday, March 23, at his home.

He is survived by his sons, George Vanmeter of Sevierville, TN and Dustin Vanmeter of Dandridge, TN; his brother, William Lewis of Crawfordsville, TN; his sister, Patricia Perry of Laurel Hill, 4 grandchildren.
Born April 9, 1945 in Montgomery County, Indiana, he was a son of the late Geroge T. and Evelyn Thompson Vanmeyer. He served with the US Navy and retired as a cook with Captain Larry's Seafood Restaurant in Laurinburg.
