George Washington Butler

George Washington Butler, 86, of 529 Wagram St. died Tuesday, January 19, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday at North View Harvest Ministries officiated by the Rev. Kenneth Blease.
Burial will follow in Scotland Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie Revels Butler; two sons, Thomas Butler and Larry Butler of Laurinburg; three daughters, Shirley Finch and Dixie Graham of Laurinburg, and Vaun Seal Johnson of Wilmington; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Born April 14, 1912 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late William P. and Ann Jane Norton Butler. He was a retired employee of Morgan Mills.

Visitation will be 7 - 9 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
