Mrs. Geneva Arnette Ivey, 84, of McBryde Ave. died Tuesday, June 17, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Old Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church officiated by the Rev. Howard Whitehurst. Burial will follow in Rowland Cemetery, Rowland.
She is survived by five sons, Malloy Ivey of Laurel Hill, Gene Ivey and wife, Sue of Laurinburg, Charles Ivey of Springfield, GA, Wayne Ivey and wife, Sharon of Greenwood, SC, and Mike Ivey and wife, Carlee of Aviano, Italy; three daughters, Carol Giuliano and husband, Tony of East Hanover, NJ, Ann Weaver and husband, Marvin of Bennettsville, SC, and Sandi Mousa and husband, Arafat of Lakewood, CA; 19 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 step-great grandchild, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Born August 15, 1918 in Dillon, SC, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Maudie Hamilton Arnette and widow of the late J. E. Ivey. She was a retired sales clerk for Fashion Fabrics and was active in the Women of the Church, Circle #1, and contributed her handiwork to the annual church ingathering.
