Gene S. Warwick

Mr. Gene Sanford Warwick, 71, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.
Born October 1, 1945, in Marlboro County, SC he was the son of late Joe and Catherine Murray Warwick. He was a graduate of Wagram High School, class of 1964, and attended Alamance Technical. He loved traveling, flying and antique trucks.
Gene is survived by: his wife, Ruth Lucas Warwick; son, Gene S. Warwick, Jr. (Sonia) Colfax, NC; daughter, Karen Warwick Makowski (Stan) of Greensboro, NC; brother, Joe Warwick,Jr. (Jeanne) Cooleemee, NC; sister, Cackey Riggin, Laurinburg, NC; aunt, Jeanne Nadeau, High Point, NC; grandchildren, Della Warwick, Gabriel Warwick and Caleb Makowski; and niece, Janie Cranford (Brent).
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Old Laurel Hill Presbyterian Church.
