Gary Seymour Colton, 83, died Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Scotia Village.
A service of remembrance will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Scotia Village officiated by the Rev. Neal Carter. Visitation will immediately follow the service.
Gary is survived by his son, Gary S. Colton Jr. of Chicago; two daughters, Penny Colton of Richland, WA and Heidi Poage of Laurinburg; one brother, Evan Thomas Colton of Boston, MA; two sisters, Gaye Bushnell or Hartford, CT and Marian Inglis of WallaWalla, WA; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was born on March 20, 1928 in Wilmington, Delaware, a son of the late Henry Seymour and Ruth Colton. He worked as President for National City Bank in Cleveland, National City Trust in Palm Beach Florida and taught Economics at Florida Atlantic University in Florida.
