Garrett Edward Chrisler, 74, formerly of Painted Post, N.Y., passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Chrisler of the home; sons, Gary Chrisler (Tina) of Georgia, Jeff Chrisler of Pennsylvania; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bradley and Helen Chrisler.
Born September 15, 1941 in Corning, NY, he was a son of the late Edward Mosher Jr. and Marion Chrisler Mosher. He was enlisted in the U.S. Army from 1958-1961. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, camping and ceramics. He retired from Wal-Mart and was very proud of being self-employed as well.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium of Laurinburg, N.C. is serving the family.
