Fred Edward Lowery, 56, of 105 Rosemary Lane died Monday, August 16, at his residence.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at Salem Emmanuel Holiness Church officiated by the Rev. Glen Odom.. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by a son, Fred Lowery, Jr. and his wife, Sheila, of Laurel Hill; a daughter, Janie L. Spangler and her husband, James, of Laurinburg; his mother, Cattie Mae Lowery of Wagram; five brothers, James Belton Lowery and Ronnie Lowery of Wagram, Clyde Lowery of Laurinburg, Everette Lowery of China Grove, and David Lowery of Oakboro; three sisters, Cattie Mae Cribb and Hazel Lowery of Laurel Hill, and Bessie Brooks of Oakboro; eight grandchildren.
Born August 7, 1943 in Scotland County, he was also a son of the late Henry Belton Lowery. Fred was a retired truck driver.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
