Frances Barrington Wright, 81, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Morrison Manor.
A private burial will be at Hillside Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Ellis Wright of Laurinburg; her daughter, Nancy Tremblay of Laurinburg; her sisters, Anna Jo Barrington of Laurinburg; her brother, William Barrington of Laurinburg; and her grandson, Austin Tremblay of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton E. Wright, and a brother, Emory Barrington of Bennettsville.
Born December 5, 1931 in Marlboro County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Walter Laurin and Naomi Yarbrough Barrington. She was employed at St. Andrews University as a technical Library cataloging assistant and retired in 1996 after 25 years of service.
