Frances Beane Hart

Frances Beane Hart, 89, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.

A funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at St. Johns United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Harold Hunt. The family will have a private burial before the service. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.

Born November 23, 1928 in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late Sidney and Amelia Yow Beane. She worked as an inspector at West Point for 39 years. She was a lifetime member at St. Johns United Methodist Church. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Silver Sneakers. Frances also loved to bake and spending time in her garden.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Ellen Caulder (Jimmy) of Laurinburg and Donna Jones (Artie) of Matthews; her only surviving sister of fourteen siblings, Sarah Riggins (Bill) of Laurinburg; grandchildren, Howard Caulder (Tasha), John Caulder (Lindsay), Mandy Collver, April Smith (Kyle); great grandchildren, Madison Collver, Colby Caulder, Kaelin Caulder, Naomi Smith, Carolyn Caulder, Kaleb Smith, and Ian Caulder. She is preceded in death by her son, Vance Brown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the J. D. Fran Asher Animal Shelter, 1401 West Blvd., Laurinburg, N.C. 28352 or St. Johns United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 181, Gibson, N.C. 28343.
