Born on February 13, 1949, in Randolph County, she was a daughter of the late George Dewey, II and Jewel Hurley Luther. Frances's life was a tapestry of love, faith, and dedication that warmed the hearts of all who knew her. Frances's life was marked by her entrepreneurial spirit as the co-owner of Freeman's Electric and her nurturing heart as a homemaker. She was a founding board member and charter member of the New Day Ministries in Liberty. God was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life's challenges and joys with grace and gratitude. Frances's love for God's creations was evident in the hours she spent watching the birds and flowers. In her leisure time, she would enjoy watching QVC. She enjoyed spending time with Brayden and Waylon.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Dwight Thomas Freeman of the home; daughter, Teresa Ann Freeman of the home; sister, Becky Saunders of Pisgah; grandsons, Travis Thomas Cesaro (Mandy Callicutt) and Hunter Reid Cesaro (Taylor), both of Troy; and great-grandsons, Brayden Jace Cesaro and Waylon Dwight Cesaro, both of Troy. She is preceded in death by her brother, Jr. Luther.
Frances always thought of others even until the very end. That is why she donated her remains to HonorBridge to help others.
Bumgarner Family Funeral Service is serving the Freeman family.
