Mrs. Florence Stevens Coleman, 79, of 18380 Marston Road died suddenly Tuesday, January 25, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Presbyterian Church in the Pines officiated by the Revs. Sandy Williams, Mike Porter, and John Hinkle, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in King Cemetery.

Born September 6, 1920 in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Franklin and Molly Lee Lisenby Stevens. She was employed with Springs Mills as an inspector for over 40 years.
She is survived by two sons, Harry Coleman and his wife, Connie, of Laurel Hill, Tom Coleman and friend, Connie Beiermeister, of Sanford, FL; a daughter, Martha Harris and her husband, Martin, of Laurinburg; a brother, Bryant Stevens of Laurel Hill, a sister, Alma Butler of Laurinburg; 7 grandchildren, Dale Darr and friend, Jan Blair; Steve Darr and wife, Lynn; Greg Harris, Charlotte Johns and husband, Brad; Kris Coleman and fiancAC.e, Meg Brooks; Sandy Coleman; and Adam Coleman. Also 6 great-grandchildren; Nicole Darr. Steven Darr, Kristian Johns, Austin Johns, Josh Darr, and Matt Darr.

Memorials may be made to Laurel Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church, Marston Road, Laurel Hill, NC 28351.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Friday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium in Laurinburg.
