Mrs. Evie Clark Freeman, 82, formerly of Laurel Hill, died Sunday, October 7, 2007, at Presbyterian Home of Hawfields in Mebane, NC.
A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. Larry Singletary. Burial will follow in King Cemetery.
She is survived by one son; James Freeman and wife, Mary Lou of Graham; one sister, Lula Mae Caulder of Laurinburg; two grandchildren, Matthew Freeman of Greensboro and Marianne Freeman of Burlington.
Mrs. Freeman was born May 29, 1925 in Scotland County, a daughter of the late Whiteford and Alma Parks Clark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Freeman. Together they ran Freemana
