Mrs. Evelyn Lassiter Webster, 87, of Springmoor Life Care Community, Raleigh, died Tuesday, October 22, at her residence.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Centre Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Maxton officiated by the Rev. Dr. Douglas Hix.
She was a retired teacher at Central School in Laurinburg, and a childrens Sunday school teacher at Centre Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Melba Webster of Laurinburg, two sisters, Elizabeth Webster of Raleigh and Doris Grewdowski of California; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Clyde Webster and her son, Allen Webster.
