Mrs. Evelyn Mildred Harris Blythe, 77, of 7221 Walters Rd. died Tuesday, July 31, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Presbyterian Church in the Pines officiated by Chaplain Thomas Groome. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Blythe; a son, Raymond Blythe of Rochester, NY; a daughter, Lynn Huff of Marston, NC; a sister, Jean Grele of Naugatuck, CT; four grandchildren.
Born June 10, 1924 in Seymour, CT she was a daughter of the late Charles and Emily Senger Harris. She was a member of the Eastern Star, a choir member at the Church in the Pines, and was retired as a secretary in the Development Office of St. Andrews Presbyterian College.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home in Laurel Hill.
