Eva Wilson Taylor

Laurinburg

Mrs. Eva Wilson Taylor, 102, died Monday, February 25, at Scotia Village.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. C. F. McDowell, III. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Neal Taylor Henschen of Laurinburg; twp granddaughters, Patricia Henegan and Stephanie Kelly; three great grandchildren, David Kelly, Raquel Harris, and Kimberly Conteras-Perez.

Born August 1, 1905 in Yancy County, NC she was formerly employed in the accounts receivable department at Scotland Memorial Hospital for over thirty years. She was also a former Sunday school superintendent at the First Baptist Church and founded the local chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
