Mrs. Eugenia MacLean Priddy, 99, formerly of Lumberton died Sunday, April 6, 2008.
A graveside service will be 9 a.m. Thursday at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Morris Morgan Room, Scotia Village, Laurinburg officiated by the Rev. Dr. Neal Carter and the Rev. Elizabeth Forester.
She is survived by a son, Stewart Priddy of Evanston, IL; two granddaughters, Eugenia MacLean Priddy of Arlington, VA and Frances Holt Priddy of Madison, WI; and four great grandchildren.
Born April 9, 1908 in Robeson County, she was a daughter of the late Neill Archibald and Estelle Graham Stewart MacLean. She was a retired 2nd grade teacher in Robeson County. After her retirement she tutored children in reading and spelling and also worked with Vietnamese children. Eugenia was also a former member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lumberton and was a Colonial Dame.
