Mrs. Ethel McCormick Trawick Briles, 87, of 1008 Deboy St., and formerly of Laurinburg died Tuesday, Nov. 2, at her home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel in Laurinburg officiated by the Revs. Stan Smith, Wil Jackson, and Bill Trawick. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
She is survived by a son, Robert Trawick of Laurinburg; a daughter, Carolyn Jordan of Raleigh; four sisters, Kathleen MacLean of Louisburg, Margaret Paul, Mildred Perkins, and Rachel Beane of Laurinburg; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Born July 28, 1917 in Kinston, she was a daughter of the late James D. and Hattie Webster McCormick and widow of the late Paul Trawick and R. J. Briles. She was a former employee of Baddoura
