Erin Lena (Kearns) Trayner

Erin Lena Kearns Trayner, 39, passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC.

Due to COVID 19, a memorial service will be held at a later date at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service Chapel, Troy, NC.

Born August 26, 1980 in Hickory, NC, Erin is the daughter of Maxton C. Kearns, Jr. of Rockingham and the late Jane McIntyre Kearns.  She loved reading, swimming and other water sports.

In addition to her father, she is survived by one son, Kaeleb Trayner of Poplarville, MS; and one sister, Kara O’Brien of Las Vegas, NV.  In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her brother, Maxton C. Kearns, III.
