Eric “Big E” James Williams, 44, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service Chapel in Troy, with Rev. Richard Lynthacum officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Born October 4, 1978, in Christian County, KY, he is a son of James Clayton, Jr. and Vera Lynn Johnson Williams. “Big E” enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, camping, and just being outdoors.

He is survived by his parents, James Clayton, Jr. and Verna Lynn Johnson Williams, of the home; brother, James Clayton Williams, III, of the home; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Clayton Williams, Sr. and Jewel Luther Williams; maternal grandparents, Roland Arthur Johnson and Evelyn Cagle Williams
