Emory Clyde Burkett, 85, passed away Thusday, August 27.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Gibson Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
Born August 10, 1930 in Georgia, he was a US Army retiree.
He is survived by his son, Ronald Cherry (Brenda) of Gibson; his daughter, Betty Carpenter (David) of London, OH; his brother, David Burkett of Georgia; his sister, Evelyn Williams of Texas; his special friend, Donna Krause (Rodney) and daughter, Naomi; his grandchildren, Michael McKenzie, Bryan Cherry, and Allyson Cherry; his great grandchildren, Joshua McKenzie and Lucas Cherry.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
