Emma Russell Smith, 71 of Hamlet, passed away, Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Richmond Pines in Hamlet.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2018 at Hillside Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Shelley Dial. The family will receive friends after the service.

Born December 3, 1946 in Scotland County, she was the daughter of the late William Alex and Dorothy Rabon Russell.

She is survived by her two aunts, Claire McNeill of Florence, SC and Katie Sheppard of Laurinburg; and numerous cousins.
