Mrs. Emma S. Ozment, 85, died January 15 at Morrison Manor.
She was born October 4, 1928 in Salisbury, NC a daughter of the late William and Leonie Mampe Stoessel.
Emma was the owner/operator of The Yarn Barn which was in Laurinburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Banks Ozment.
She is survived by two sons, Stan Ozment (Lura) of Conyers, GA, Chris Ozment (Kate Tuomala) of Pinehurst, NC; three grandchildren, Emily Meztista (Chris) of Omaha, NE, Brian Ozment of Atlanta, GA and Meg Tuomala of Southern Pines; two great grandsons, Owen and Edward Meztista; numerous nieces and nephews.
No services are planned for Mrs. Ozment.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested for Hospice of Scotland County, PO Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
