Mrs. Elizabeth Janie Liles, 91, of Gibson Manor died Saturday, August 14, at Hamlet Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Antioch United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Liles Family Cemetery.
Born January 21, 1908 in Marlboro County, she was the daughter of the late Ebbie and Annie Miller Liles. She was retired after 39 years as a elementary school teacher with the South Carolina School System, a member of the Retired Teachers Association of South Carolina, a member and Sunday school teacher of Antioch United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sisters; Mary Liles of Gibson and Annie L. Arnold of Houston, TX, one brother; Philip H. Liles of Laurinburg, she has several nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Monday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium, Laurinburg.
