Memorial services will be held on Friday at 3:30 PM in the Laurinburg Presbyterian Church with Dr. Nick Mager officiating.
Born November 26, 1928 in Stanley County, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Elizabeth Smith Mabry. Her husband Bevin Jackson Williams preceded her in death.
Mrs. Williams was a retired registered nurse working with both the Scotland County Health Department and Scotland Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Laurinburg Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include three sons; Bradley M. Williams and wife Sarah of Laurinburg, Bevin J. Williams, Jr. and wife Nancy of Greensboro, and Jim E. Williams and wife Betty of Greenville, NC; two daughters, Elizabeth M. Williams of Wrightsville Beach, NC and Patsy W. Meads and husband Cliff of Savannah, GA; two sisters, Jenny M. Burns of Charlotte and Lula M. Bell of Chicago, IL. Eleven grandchildren also survive her, Dillard Williams, Jackson Williams, Ryan Williams, Kathryn Williams, Leigh Williams, Jamie Williams, Lauren Williams, Caroline Meads, Wilson Meads, Holly Meads and Elizabeth Meads.
The family will be receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today (Thursday) in the Argyll Room at Scotia Village and on Friday at the conclusion of services in the church fellowship hall.
