Elizabeth Hampton Dunbar, 19, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016.

A memorial service will be 11 am Thursday at the First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium and following the memorial service at the Nettie Hammond Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her parents, Wade and Beth Craig Dunbar; her brother, Stafford Dunbar; her grandmother, Dorcas Craig (Jim Ford); her grandfather, Griffith Craig; her aunts, Lea Dunbar Garcia (Joe), Fran Dunbar Currey (Jim), Robbie Dunbar Rivardo (Danny), and Carolina Dunbar Lugo-Vina (Eduardo); her uncle, Billy Craig (Jessica); her cousins, Anna and Sara Garcia, Vance Bost, Chloe and Olivia Craig, and Andy Lugo-Vina.

She was born May 1, 1996 in Laurinburg and was a 2014 graduate of Scotland High School where she was in the National Honor Society, the Anchor Club, and was a participant in the 2013 Laurinburg-Oban Student Exchange.

She attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia for a year and most recently attended Richmond Community College. She was presented by the Terpsichorean Club at the N.C. Debutante Ball in 2015

Elizabeth will be remembered for her beautiful, engaging, and contagious smile and broad range of friendships.
