Miss Elise McLaurin Gibson, 91, of the Penick Home and formerly of Washington, DC and Gibson, NC died Friday, June 9, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Pine Crest Cemetery in Gibson officiated by the Rev. Grady Perryman.
She is survived by a great nephew, T. G. Gibson, III of Gibson; three great nieces, Cam Weatherly of Bennettsville, SC, Kaki Perez of Rockingham, and Laurin Gibson of Greenville.
Born February 18, 1909 in Gibson, she was a daughter of the late Thomas G. Gibson and Annie Buddin Gibson. She was a graduate of Agnes Scott College and a statistician the National Security agency in Washington, DC.
