Edwin 'Buddy' Snead

Mr. Edwin "Buddy" Snead, 73, 21500 Aberdeen Road died Friday, January 28, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Woodville Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by the Rev. Dale Deese. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.

Born November 5, 1926 in Scotland County he was the son of the late Lyon and Alice P. Snead. Mr. Snead was a self employed farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Chance Snead; two sons; Richard Snead and his wife Dinah, of Laurinburg and Keith Snead and his wife, Louie, of Laurinburg; a daughter, Cindy Snead of Laurinburg; a brother, Alfred Snead of Laurinburg; four sisters, Katie Deese of Laurel Hill, Marie Hayes of Robbins, Ruby Mae Pate of Hamlet, and Grace Riggins of Rockingham; five grandchildren, Chris Snead, Melissa Snead, Erin Snead, Stevie Jenkins, and Cassie Jenkins of Laurinburg; a nephew, Joey Hicks of Rockingham. of Laurinburg.
