Edward Garrett Taylor, 40, of 22521 Snead's Grove Road, Laurel Hill died Tuesday, December 1, at his home.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel in Laurinburg officiated by the Rev. Randall Snead.
Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
He is survived by his parents, Ed and Doris Taylor of Laurel Hill; a brother, Terry Taylor and his wife, Elizabeth, of Laurel Hill; a sister; Melody Snead and her husband, Randall Snead of Laurel Hill; his maternal grandmother, Dora Knight of Laurel Hill; two nephews, Timothy Snead and Philip Snead of Laurel Hill. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Pete and Leslie Taylor and his mathernal grandfather, Leonard Knight.
Born April 30, 1958 in Laurinburg, Mr. Taylor resided with his parents following a lengthy childhood Illness.
McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium is serving the family.
